Nice one zeb, well played.

I think we should have a combined grand tour league next season....

Well played all and congrats Zeb..cant believe I would ever finish in the top ten, let alone 2nd! Maybe we should do the spring classics next year(My fav part of the season)?

Re: 2018 Cycling & Fantasy Leagues
I did l'Etape two years ago and it was on the same day at our home game against Southampton. My day consisted of: drive from Epping to Stratford, ride from Stratford to Epping to Stratford, drive from Stratford to Epping, get the Tube from Epping to Stratford, see us lose 0-3, get the Tube from Stratford to Epping.

Well played all,

May well join that Dan, Im hoping to get out on my bike next Sunday doing L'etape London, which is going to clash nicely with 60,000 supporters attending the Chelsea game as the start/finish is on the Olympic Park.

Re: 2018 Cycling & Fantasy Leagues
Chapeau zeb - the very embodiment of British Cycling - who wins the final GT of the year to complete an unprecedented clean sweep of WHO Fantasy Leagues in 2018.

Podium for Medway and myself (my third of the season making me WHO's Tom Dumoulin). On the morning of the first stage I swapped out Enric Mas for George Bennett. Would have won with points to spare if I hadn't...

It's been a great Spring and Summer of pro cycling. Fuck the haters. May the Gary Imlach-less days pass quickly and hopefully I'll see you all back here for the Giro.

And for those of you that actually swing your leg over your own bike, there is a West Ham Strava group (started by former WHO poster Dan L) - https://www.strava.com/clubs/West-Ham-United

Re: 2018 Cycling & Fantasy Leagues
Fab race for Simon Yates helped by Movistar flubbing their tactics (if they have any) yet again.
Mas, Bernal and Lopez are going to be big threats next season and Lotto NL Jumbo look as though they could take on Sky with a full strength team.
Daylight robbery by my fantasy team this time round. Thanks Dan - enjoyed this one.

Never thought this would happen in my lifetime, a clean sweep of the 3 Grand tours by British cyclists! 🇬🇧️
Giro d'Italia - Chris Froome
Tour de France - Geraint Thomas
Vuelta a Espaņa - Simon Yates

Wallop!

One day i might not come last in the fantasy competition!!

Catch you next year gents.

Re: 2018 Cycling & Fantasy Leagues
Not only three different British riders winning the GTs this year, but the last FIVE three-weekers have been won by British riders.

By the time the 2019 Giro comes along it will be two years since a non-British rider won one.

Just got back and haven't seen any of it but realised that I had picked the wrong Yates brother! otherwise could have been a contender...
Was it a good race?

Re: 2018 Cycling & Fantasy Leagues
Had a blinding day at the London stage of the ToB yesterday. Team Sky had the winning bikes and trophies from TdF, Giro and Vuelta, and a host of other bikes on show.

Got my way into a Sky/Pinarello event after the race, Dave B, Froome, G and Poels doing a Q&A, got to meet them all which was a great end to a cracking day.
